Hi, first let me thank you for developing such and a fantastic plug-in. I just upgraded to 1.1.1 and it works beautifully.

We are using your plug-in to integrate our employees’ user accounts with an internal blog that we use for company announcements. In Active Directory, each user has an avatar profile image. What is the best way to get the user’s profile into WordPress and associated with their account?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Ryan,
I thought about such a feature in the past. Could you send me the tools you use to add images to your AD, so I can do some tests?

I’d love to see photo get added too with some sort of front end that allows easy upload/manipulation.

Hope this link helps with how to achieve this:

This is tool that enables such updates but runs on IIS… there is a 30 day trial… not sure if this is helpful or not:

HI First i just want to congratulate for your excellent work. I tried a lot of plugins and ADI is by far the best one.

I just find only one bug. When a user is disabled in the AD, he’s still able to log on wordpress site. I patch the issue in the ad-integration.php page at line 727. with this
//if the user is disabled
if (empty($userinfo["useraccountcontrol"][0]))
{
$this->_log(ADI_LOG_DEBUG,’Authentication failed because the user is disabled’);
$this->_authenticated = false;
$this->_store_failed_login($username);
return false;
}

It does the job but i’m not sure if it’s the correct thing to do. In your next version, can you check this issue.

Thanks for your fantastic work

Hi weetouches,
thanks a lot for your patch. Right now I’m working on a feature to disable users in WP who are deactivated (or deleted) in AD. And your code is a great help. I’ll check it.
