ADi: 1.0 Released / Upcoming Multisite Support / Sync Back / Bulk Import 25. März 2011

Am 23.3.2011 habe ich die Version 1.0 veröffentlicht, die eine Menge Fixes und einige neue Funktionen enthält. Unter anderem können nun beliebige Attribute aus dem Active Directory ausgelesen und im Benutzeprofil angezeigt werden. Doch es gibt noch einiges zu tun.

Multisite Support

Mulitsite Support ist das am häufigsten geforderte Feature und ich werde mich sehr, sehr bald darum kümmern. Wenn Du spezielle Wünsche zum Multisite Support hast, hinterlasse einen Feature Request unter http://bt.ecw.de/view.php?id=4.

Sync Back & Bulk Import

Derzeit arbeite ich an zwei neuen Features: Sync Back und User Bulk Import. Sync Back erlaubt es die aus dem Active Directory ausgelesenen Attribute wieder zurück ins AD zu schreiben. So können Benutzer z.B. ihre Telefonnummern selber pflegen.

Mit dem User Bulk Import können alle Benutzer die einer bestimmten Sicherheitsgruppe angehören automatisch (z.B. mittels eines CRON-Jobs) aus dem Active Directory ausgelesen und in WordPress angelegt werden.

Ich hoffe diese Arbeit in den nächsten Tagen abzuschließen und mit der Version 1.1 zu veröffentlichen. Anschließend kümmere ich mich um den Multisite Support.

Hi,
i have a litlle problem with your plugin. I can’t automatically create users. Every time i have this error: File does not exist: C:/wamp/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/active-directory-integration/images, referer: http://10.10.40.110/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/active-directory-integration/css/adintegration.css?ver=1.7.1

I don’t understand because this files have never exist and at the begining the plugin works.

ok there is a possible bug in the css. Please give the current development version a try and let me know if this fixed your problem.

n0on, the wordpress.org server is slow. So wait a few minutes before you try to download the development version.

I am trying to get this working on my campus. I cannot get it to authenticate. The log file does not really give me much information.

Any tips on troubleshooting an installation?

I am trying to get the ad fields to work in the user meta.

givenname:string:first_name
sn:string:last_name
mail:string

This is what I currently have, however, the First Name and Last Name fields aren’t populated – is this the correct format?

Hi, great work! This plugin is really awesome.
But I have one question:

To create a new user in wp automaticly he has to log in manually for ONE TIME. Then the user is created and afterwards the SSO works.

Is there a way to auto create a user without login in for one time?
